Mandatory Roll-out Bins - July 1, 2018

Effective July 1, 2018, it will be mandatory for residents of Marystown to use approved plastic roll-out bins for their garbage. Garbage that is not in a proper bin will not be collected.

Any remaining wooden garbage boxes still in use are to be removed from the curb - residents can still continue to use them if they are moved out of sight.

The Town will not be responsible for disposing of wooden garbage boxes. Residents can dismantle and bundle them for pick-up by Burin Peninsula Waste Management. For the safety of the workers, please ensure all nails and screws are removed from the boards.

For more information regarding approved roll-out bins, please contact Burin Peninsula Waste Management at 891-1717.
